Industrial salt packed directly into 50 kg PP bags is the high-throughput bagged option in the India Salt catalogue. One metric tonne corresponds to 20 nominal 50 kg bags. It suits buyers who want defined handling units but do not need the additional bag count of a 25 kg format.
Confirm vehicle access, unloading labour or equipment, covered storage, stacking rules and the maximum bag weight your team can handle safely. Compare the bagged landed cost with loose delivery only after including the buyer’s real storage and handling setup.
For IS 797 Grade I, Grade II or custom chemistry, add the required NaCl, moisture, insoluble, calcium, magnesium, sulphate, iron and particle-size limits and request the applicable test report.
Twenty nominal 50 kg bags equal one metric tonne.
